BLAST (Bible Learning And Sharing Together)
This explosion of fun is for students 5th-8th grade on Sunday mornings @ 9:00am. This fall, Steve Ehlers will be leading our BLAST group through the adventures of Pictures of God (c). As Todd Temple writes in the beginning of this book, "Does your Bible have photos in it? Mine doesn't. Just some maps in the back. Photography was invented too late to catch God on film." Through this study, we will use the words of The Bible to draw pictures of God. We will picture God like a gift, like water, like a rescue worker, like a Mom, and even like a rock. There will be many weeks of artistic picture of God. Oh, this is not truly an art class. These lessons will be loaded with creative games, activities, sketches, handouts, and more. Ideas will be exploding just like the fun. Come! Bring a friend! Share and grow in your faith. Hey, there may even be donuts! |
